"an estate where nature, craft, and hospitality intertwine."
The transformation of Vinhuset is situated within the gentle contours of the Swedish landscape and continues a collaboration with Ästad Vingård. The design integrates architecture with terrain to align built form with natural topography and emphasize sensory engagement. The project follows Restaurant ÄNG and the lakeside retreat Sjöparken, contributing additional hospitality functions to the vineyard’s network. Nature, craft, and hospitality are interwoven through material choices, spatial sequencing, and programmatic relationships. The intervention deepens the visitor’s sensorial experience and expands the vineyard’s constellation of spaces and functions, reinforcing a close relationship between landscape and architecture.
