Armoua House / Fabian Tan Architect
"Armoua House sits on an end-lot terrace, overlooking a line of treetops and the city beyond."
"The project carries an unusual narrative: it started as a single newly built three-storey home, and just before completion, the owners acquired the neighbouring unit."
"The two units were then combined and redesigned as one residence."
Armoua House occupies an end-lot terrace with views across a line of treetops toward the city. The initial scheme was a newly built three-storey home that, shortly before completion, expanded through the acquisition of the neighbouring unit. The two separate terrace units were combined and redesigned to function as one enlarged residence. The unification created spatial continuity across both lots and allowed the redesign to prioritize outward views and a cohesive residential composition occupying the end-lot position.
