The author later transitioned from sports coaching to working with children through CASA, illustrating a commitment to positively influence young lives beyond sports.
Coaching youth sports taught me valuable lessons about instruction, communication, and patience while positively impacting the lives of the children I worked with.
Even years later, former players would seek me out to express gratitude, demonstrating the lasting effect a coach can have on young lives.
