What's on your desk, Nick Statt?
Briefly

Nick Statt, the senior producer of The Verge's Decoder podcast, outlines his multifaceted role, including scheduling, guest selection, and episode packaging. After a decade of reporting, he returned to Rochester amid the pandemic and crafted a dedicated workspace in his home, transforming a bedroom into an office conducive to both work and leisure. The environment is described as peaceful and well-lit, favorable for productivity and audio recording. His setup reflects a blending of professional and personal life, enhanced by the presence of his cat and plants.

I’ve turned the second bedroom into a workspace that allows for long work sessions and is ideal for recording audio without distractions.
