We think this is the right thing to do. But we would certainly like some insight, as there is (or seems to be) a tension between respecting the wishes of the donor and being honest with our child.
If he decides to pursue that route and finds the woman, do we tell him we knew all along? What about if he tries and fails and then is very distressed about not knowing?
