While Tara Wood's documentary is clearly in the director's corner, it convincingly charts the most unlikely of outsiders' rise to the top without rewriting history as a jolly David and Goliath story.
Wood's doc is a welcome reminder of how much of a disruptor Tim Burton was back in the day, showcasing his unconventional creativity that sets him apart in Hollywood.
