I believe that poetry as an insightful and powerful form of literature can often be overlooked in favour of other forms of writing, whether this be fiction or drama.Whilst these forms are undoubtedly highly relevant and influential, so too is poetry, for a multitude of reasons which can sometimes be forgotten by readers.
