Small Bits of Gratitude
Briefly

In November, I’m making it a point to spread small bits of kindness through simple gestures such as allowing others into traffic and complimenting strangers.
When a driver wants into my lane, I wave her in. The surprise and then the big smile I see in the rearview mirror bring both of us a five-second piece of joy.
Giving compliments to strangers can create a moment of happiness. Recently, I told a woman in an airport that her cerulean blue dress was gorgeous, and it lit up her face.
November is often associated with gratitude, and practicing kindness through easy, anonymous actions is a beautiful way to enhance this spirit.
