An animated series adaptation of Midnight Sun is currently in development at Netflix, expanding the Twilight universe by telling the same events from Edward Cullen's perspective.
Stephanie Meyer will be an executive producer for the series, continuing her involvement in Twilight adaptations, assisted by Sinead Daly, the series' writer.
