My favourite room: 'To me, the kitchen should be another closet - I actually store my shoes in the oven' - country singer Laura Bryna on her Hollywood home

To describe herself as a nut, which country singer Laura Bryna does - she calls herself a cashew, half Catholic, half Jewish - is a risky thing given that in her home she reserves one very large room complete with shower for her family of four birds. "They love to shower. Snuggles, my cockatoo, is a diva. She even has her own special cockatoo shampoo."

Laura knows people call her crazy. In fact, she also uses the term 'crazy bird chick' to describe herself but she's unabashed in expressing her love for Snuggles, Harmony, Tyler and Lil One. "They come everywhere with me, even on my tour bus. My mother says 'When I die, I'm coming back as one of Laura's birds.'"
