My time at the National Youth Music Theatre was very formative, from 13 to 17. I experienced a great sense of camaraderie and deepened my passion for performing.
In my 20s, I was conscious of wanting to be taken seriously and play dramatic roles instead of relying on good looks. Now, I reflect on that choice.
