Since the start of the conflict, I've constantly sought hope for a ceasefire, but with each passing month, that hope waned as the reality of war deepened.
Each time I reached out to family and friends during this war, their sole yearning echoed back: an end to the violence, a return to peace and normality.
My students continually voiced their desires to return to their homes and schools, underscoring the simple yearning for peace amidst the chaos and destruction.
The aftermath of the war has left us not only battling physical destruction, but also the emotional toll of uncertainty, fatigue, and the weight of unfulfilled hopes.
