Never has a character hit home for Brandon Sklenar quite like Atlas from It Ends With Us. The actor may not have been to war, but for all intents and purposes, '[he] pretty much [is] that guy,' he tells us.
Atlas is the quintessential good guy, a healthy version of masculinity, in stark contrast to the more assertive Ryle. Casting directors had Sklenar in mind for the role, even though initially he had no interest.
Once Sklenar understood the significance of the book and the impact it had on women worldwide, he agreed to the project, influenced by director Justin Baldoni's pure intentions in spreading the book's message.
