Artist Storm Ritter found her ideal living space in the East Village after a decade in cramped West Village lodgings. Determined to create a home that resonates with her artistic spirit, she painted the previously bland interiors in vibrant hues, drawing inspiration from her favorite influences, including the TV show 'I Dream of Jeannie.' Her living space, including a multi-functional dining room and a record station reflecting her eclectic musical tastes, has become a sanctuary where she can create and flourish as an artist.
"I looked at hundreds of apartments, and I knew this was the right one the minute I walked in with the beautiful natural light and 16-foot ceiling."
"I used so many colors, purples, blues, dark greens in the living room, and mulberry and raspberry in the bedroom. I wanted the living room to be mystical and moody."
