In 1993, after a thrilling Bruce Springsteen concert, my brother and I found ourselves utterly lost, having accidentally crossed the Tappan Zee Bridge multiple times, humorously racking up tolls along the way.
Despite the toll collector’s stern demeanor, we tried to win her over with charm after being charged again for our repeated erroneous crossings of the bridge, to no avail.
The memories of that concert, filled with joy and camaraderie, juxtaposed against the absurdity of our navigation mishap, highlight how music can create unforgettable experiences, even amidst chaos.
Returning to the present, we still share our love for Springsteen's music, as evidenced by our excitement to buy his album 'Letter to You' in the grim days of 2020, fostering a sense of connection and nostalgia.
