A High-Ceilinged Sutton Place Duplex
Briefly

In the 1980s, Carolyne Roehm's life was as close as anyone could come to one of the socialites in Tom Wolfe's Bonfire of the Vanities, living in opulence with her second husband Henry Kravis. She became known for her career in fashion, design, and writing, exuding exquisite taste through her books and opulent residences.
Roehm found solace and similarities in her Sutton Place duplex co-op, where she shared a taste with the previous owners. The double-high gallery entrance, mahogany-paneled library, and great room with a coffered ceiling evoked memories of her manor, Weatherstone, creating a feeling of cocoon-like comfort.
