The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, Unrwa, has reported that due to continuous Israeli bombardment, only 6 of its 22 health centers in Gaza are currently operational. Unrwa has highlighted a critical shortage of essential medical supplies, despite the easing of Israel's blockade. It has called for unhindered access to deliver lifesaving aid, underlining that it has provided over 8.5 million medical consultations since the onset of war in October 2023. Meanwhile, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has reported beginning food distribution despite uncertainty over aid delivery directly to civilians amid criticism and objections from the UN.
