Harrison Edward Nada Kontounas, 23, from Ilford, east London, was swept out to sea while swimming with two friends at Legian Beach in Bali and was reported missing at 18:40 local time. Joint search-and-rescue teams have used boats, jet skis, drones and a privately funded helicopter but have not found signs of him. Friends say lifeguards took three hours to arrive, paid 1,700 for a helicopter search, and feel the initial response was inadequate. Search operations have been hampered by waves up to 2.5m and winds up to 39 km/h. The Foreign Office is supporting the family and liaising with local authorities.
