Montreal police reported that the two women, aged 65 and 48, were arrested in relation to the kidnapping of a 5-year-old boy, who was abducted from Brossard.
After a tense few hours following the Amber Alert, police confirmed that the child was found safe, prompting the cancellation of the alert issued shortly after his disappearance.
