A survey of 1,000 American working mothers reveals that 76% were advised to delay motherhood for career advancement, with 57% postponing for this reason. Many working moms face significant challenges, including 84% feeling their pregnancy is an inconvenience and 87% stating motherhood negatively impacts their careers. Additionally, 59% report changes in their career paths due to motherhood, and half limit family size because of work-related challenges. The findings highlight a culture that pressures women to choose between career success and motherhood.
