The toughest jobs in the UK include firefighters, paramedics and farmers
Briefly

A recent poll of 2,000 adults highlights that professions such as surgeons, police officers, and care workers are viewed as exceptionally demanding, garnering a call for greater recognition. With 62% of respondents seeing these roles as essential to the UK's functioning, a significant number also feel that these workers face long hours, hazardous conditions, and emotionally taxing work. "Six in 10 (62 per cent) want to see more recognition in the UK for those performing tough jobs with 64 per cent believing they are vital to keeping the country running."
"Farming isn't for the faint-hearted - we’re up before dawn, battling the elements, and it takes real resilience out here. Our tech needs to be just as tough."
