Emily Dixon, 18, and Noah Ramsay, 22, are the winners of the 2025 Zwift Academy, securing professional contracts with Canyon-SRAM and Alpecin-Deceuninck’s development squads, respectively. Their victories were decided after a series of challenges where finalists showcased their skills and tactics in cycling. Dixon expressed her joy, calling the win "life-changing," and shared her journey in cycling, which began during COVID-19 lockdowns. Ramsay echoed these sentiments, highlighting the emotional impact of this achievement and the support from their families throughout their cycling endeavors.
"I don't know how to put my words together, but it's life-changing," Dixon told Cyclingnews, speaking in Portugal just after being named as winner.
"It's something I've dreamed of. When I think of myself as a young kid, I wasn't sure who I was, but cycling helped me find that."
"They drove me to every race, and they were there for me, even if I bossed them around a bit at the start of the races."
