Dylan Makepeace is very clearly a danger to the public and especially lone women. He was opportunistic and violent in his approach. He specifically targeted women who were on their own and vulnerable. This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and we will continue to target offenders in order to bring them to justice. The boys on bikes and the resident who intervened in the final attack showed immense bravery and helped ensure that Makepeace was swiftly detained and the victims were supported. I would also like to commend the victims for their courageous actions in fighting back against this dangerous individual.
