Based on stemware designed for her own home in 2009, Hering wanted the collection to feel elegant while functional enough to be used every day.
'Due to their ability to refract light, [optical glasses] are embossed by hand into the glowing glass just before the final molding, resulting in an irregular wall thickness,' she explained.
