Cash incentives may help men lose weight, research finds
Briefly

Financial incentives and text messages led to a 4.8% decrease in body weight among men living with obesity, outperforming the text-only and control groups.
Men receiving the incentives faced potential deductions of £50, £150, and £200 for failing to meet weight loss targets at 3, 6, and 12 months respectively, part of a Game of Stones trial led by Prof Pat Hoddinott.
