The session involved creating a web app that generates a randomized maze using only HTML, CSS, and JavaScript without any libraries. While using GitHub Copilot, the process yielded better results than past experiences with other tools. Despite initial awkwardness with other AI tools, GitHub Copilot clicked better, leading to a productive coding session. The speaker expressed satisfaction with the code developed within an hour, acknowledging some struggles but ultimately finding the experience enjoyable and rewarding.
I created an empty directory, opened up the chat interface, and started with a prompt: a web app that generates a randomized maze.
With that in mind, I decided to use GitHub Copilot, which seemed to click a bit better with me compared to other tools.
Overall, I'm really impressed with what I got built in an hour, even though the process wasn't perfect.
This support is more 'first party' in VSC... I felt like it would work better than Gemini.
