Adobe has expanded its agentic AI capabilities across Creative Cloud applications, introducing a native AI Assistant now in public beta for Photoshop on web and mobile. Users can describe desired edits to a chatbot to remove distractions, change backgrounds, adjust lighting, and modify colors. The AI Assistant offers two modes: automatic application of edits or step-by-step guidance for learning. Voice commands enable editing on mobile devices. Adobe is also integrating Express and Acrobat into Microsoft's Copilot 365 for enterprise customers, allowing conversational editing without leaving the Microsoft platform. Similar ChatGPT integration launched in December. Desktop Photoshop support is anticipated following April's announcement of AI agent development for Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
