Japanese-inspired furniture line is made from recyclable, colorful fabric - Yanko Design
Briefly

The Hanara-shi series by Nendo for Paola Lenti blends functionality with aesthetics, inspired by Japanese cherry trees and samurai armor, featuring items like lamps, baskets, armchairs, and poufs.
Created from Maris mesh, a recyclable waterproof material, the design process started with the fabric itself, showcasing its unique characteristics like rigidity, flexibility, and malleability.
The sustainable aspect of the collection extends to using recovered cutoffs for upholstery and inlays, while welded elements are introduced to assemble the furniture pieces.
