The Keyboard Business Card designed by Ricardo Daniel de Paula transforms the conventional business card into a functional 40% keyboard, demonstrating innovative engineering skills. While traditional business cards often fail to leave an impression, this unique card incorporates a USB-C connector, allowing it to connect to devices. Although typing may not be comfortable due to its size, the emphasis lies in the creativity and technology used to design such a compact, yet functional, tool, thus ensuring that the designer stands out in networking situations.
We've all seen tiny keyboards for smartphones and other devices, but those are still big enough to accommodate an average thumb size. This Keyboard Business Card, in contrast, is literally the size of a business card, so there's not much in the way of comfortable typing.
It had to be designed from scratch with very little in the way of reference. At first glance, it looks simply like an elaborate business card that just happens to have a PCB...except for the text that clearly states that it's a fully functional keyboard.
