According to Google's John Mueller, disavowing links often serves as a distraction for SEOs, especially if the site is not facing manual actions. He emphasized that the majority of websites do not utilize the disavow tool and obtaining external links may not always reflect negatively on a site. Instead of wasting time on disavowing bad links, Mueller suggests that SEOs could achieve greater value by focusing on other enhancements, like optimizing call-to-action buttons. Ultimately, engaging with relevant links may be more beneficial than disavowing them outright.
It's a time-sink with no directly connected value (if your site doesn't have a manual action for links, or is likely to get one based on something a previous SEO did). You will almost certainly get more value out of changing the color of CTA buttons/links on your pages, and you can a/b test it.
On the one hand, ignoring it is fine. On the other hand, it might be useful to weed through to see if there's something relevant there too.
