Chrome on Android can read webpages out loud from within the app
Briefly

Google is rolling out 'Listen to this page' feature on Android Chrome, enabling playback controls for listening to webpages similar to music players.
Users can change voice and language, with support for English, French, German, Arabic, Hindi, and Spanish, accessible via three dots menu on text-heavy pages.
The new feature keeps users within the browser, unlike Google Assistant, which takes them to the app for webpage reading and translation.
The feature is also being tested for Chrome on desktops, while Safari for iPhone has a similar 'Listen to Page' option. Beta version users may first access the new feature.
