Volkswagen is set to introduce the ID Buzz in the US with a First Edition model featuring exclusive gifts, while also offering Pro S models with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options. The larger version will come with a 91kWh battery and premium features like a heads-up display.
The First Edition of the ID Buzz will include features like an electrochromic panoramic glass roof, roof rail crossbars, and a bench seat for seven passengers. The Pro S models will include standard tech features like a 12.9-inch infotainment system and IQ Drive advanced driver assistance.
US pricing for the ID Buzz will be revealed closer to the launch in the fourth quarter, with the 91kWh battery potentially offering up to 310 miles on a single charge. Volkswagen is finally bringing the retro-inspired microbus to the US after being available in Europe for a year.
