visionOS 2 adds spatial photos, new UI gestures and improved Mac mirroring
Briefly

The biggest news with visionOS 2 is the addition of spatial photos that provide depth to 2D images, previously reserved for videos, allowing viewers to peek beyond the photo frames by moving their head.
SharePlay feature lets users share spatial photos, view content simultaneously, and interact in real-time using headset avatars. Updated gestural controls provide easier navigation and quick access to home view, time, battery details, Control Center, and notifications.
Screen-mirroring upgrades include resolution size improvement and an ultrawide display option equivalent to two 4K monitors. Travel mode updates include train support to minimize interruptions during rides. New APIs for tabletop apps, volumetric images, and a lens for the Canon EOS R6 digital camera to create immersive video experiences.
