Through a collaborative effort, The Hershey Company is assisting Samsung in developing custom accessories made from recycled material, specifically Hershey's plastic waste, which would otherwise contribute to landfills.
Samsung Friends, the lifestyle accessories division of Samsung, partners with various brands to create eco-friendly accessories. The new collaboration with Hershey's adds to their lineup of 17 collaborations, emphasizing recycled materials from Hershey's confectionary packaging waste.
The Samsung Friends x Hershey's collection, inspired by Hershey's packaging, includes 12 accessories such as cases and bands for Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Buds3 series. These products were officially launched in South Korea with plans for release in other countries.
