OLED MacBook Pro might show up next year, OLED MacBook Air is a distant dream
Briefly

According to a recent supply chain report, Apple is set to launch its first MacBook Pro with an OLED screen in 2026, produced by Samsung Display. The new device will feature a redesigned form factor, potentially introducing a hole-punch webcam. Production is expected to start next year, with 3 to 5 million units projected for shipment annually. While the MacBook Pro is moving forward with OLED, the MacBook Air's release is anticipated to be delayed until 2029, featuring a less advanced display technology.
The OLED screen will launch with a totally redesigned MacBook Pro, so far rumored to go with a hole-punch for the webcam instead of a notch.
Samsung is currently working on the first samples for the displays, and expects full production to commence next year.
