Belkin is recalling its BoostCharge Pro Fast Wireless Charger due to a manufacturing defect that may cause the lithium cell component to overheat, posing a fire risk.
Consumers should immediately cease using the charger, disconnect it from power sources, and store it in a safe, dry location to mitigate fire hazards.
Instead of a replacement, Belkin is providing full refunds through an online form, requiring serial numbers or purchase receipts and specific photographs for processing refunds.
Customers are prohibited from disposing of the recalled power bank in regular trash as this could lead to fires and e-waste issues, and must await disposal instructions.
