Apple is apparently finding ways to reduce the cost of components for the first model and is working on a cheaper Vision headset, codenamed N109, targeted for release by the end of 2025. The goal is to maintain high-resolution displays while making the headset at least one-third lighter.
The cheaper Vision headset is aimed at being priced in the range of a high-end iPhone, between $1,500 and $2,500. However, Apple has faced challenges in cutting costs without compromising essential features, potentially delaying the 2025 launch.
