Apple is reportedly working on a smart doorbell system that could unlock your door with Face ID
Briefly

Apple is developing a smart doorbell and lock system that leverages Face ID to securely unlock doors for known residents, aiming to enhance home security through innovative technology.
The face-scanning doorbell will connect with smart deadbolts, which may include existing HomeKit-compatible locks or partnerships with a specific lock manufacturer for a complete system.
Although exciting, this smart doorbell-lock system is still in early development stages and won't likely hit the market until at least the end of next year.
With this new product, Apple aims to compete with established players in the smart home market, including Amazon's Ring and Google Nest.
