The Washington Commanders announced several roster moves, including the release of DE/LB Jamin Davis, a former 1st round pick who failed to meet expectations.
With the addition of linebackers Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu, Jamin Davis's place on the roster became untenable, forcing the team to decline his 5th-year option.
After being a healthy scratch against the Ravens, Davis is officially off the team, creating potential for rookie LB Jordan Magee's activation from injured reserve.
In addition to releasing Jamin Davis, the Commanders made multiple practice squad moves, including the suspension of CB Kevon Seymour for violating the NFL's drugs policy.
