The Video Game History Foundation (VGHF) has launched a new digital library to aid in the study of video game history, which has been hindered by limited resources. Announced on January 30, this free-to-use website offers access to over 1500 issues of historic video game magazines and more. Users can search and filter content by specific games or industry figures, providing effective research tools. VGHF's Library Director Phil Salvador highlighted plans for ongoing content expansion and feature improvements, aiming to make this resource invaluable for historians and enthusiasts alike.
Our library is the future home for all our collections, we're in this for the long-haul, and over the coming years, we'll be adding even more materials to our archive.
The VGHF library lets you dig through over 1500 issues of old video game magazines, searchable by keyword, making it a powerful tool for researchers and historians.
