The Persona series, once popular mainly in Japan, has become a global hit with numerous releases.
While developer Atlus has made older Persona games more accessible with remakes like Persona 3 Reload, it remains difficult to play the first three games - Revelations: Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment - without emulation or the appropriate older hardware (PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita).
PlayStation's backward compatibility issues and the closure of digital storefronts for older games make it challenging to access the first three Persona games. However, PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita are still the most viable ways to play these older titles.
