Game director Jonathan Rogers announced the delay of the next major update for Path of Exile 1, attributing it largely to the focus on the launch of Path of Exile 2. Original plans for a late October release shifted due to scheduling conflicts, and the team now projects a February 2024 release, although this too is in jeopardy as resources remain tied to Path of Exile 2. Rogers expressed that the decision was difficult and that the community had an informal understanding of the expected timeline.
The ideal time to release 326 would have been late October...but we just didn't think we could do it - it was just too close to the huge circus that was the organization around PoE2's launch.
We can't really launch in January due to Christmas, so we're really going to have to do it in February. This wasn't great. It would mean seven months with no leagues.
