Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 brings together the classic games Pro Skater 3 and 4, remade in Unreal Engine 5 by Iron Galaxy. Despite initial doubts regarding the sequel's development due to the disbandment of Vicarious Visions, the nostalgic elements are preserved, with notable music like Motorhead's Ace of Spades enhancing the experience. While Iron Galaxy faced challenges in structuring the sequel differently from its predecessor, they were able to capture the entertaining gameplay that fans appreciate from previous installments.
The intro certainly grabs the old dangling nostalgia balls and gives them a good tug thanks to Motorhead's Ace of Spades once again blasting from the speakers.
Broadly speaking, this release is more of what we got in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, and for that, I'm eternally grateful because the gameplay is stupendously entertaining.
