People Can Fly is co-developing Gears of War: E-Day with The Coalition, marking their return to the franchise after 2013's Gears of War Judgment. CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski expressed excitement about building upon the beloved action and storytelling of the series. Set 14 years before the original game, E-Day follows protagonists Marcus and Dominic confronting the Locust horde. With the original voice actors returning, the game was revealed at Summer Game Fest 2024 and is targeted for a 2025 release on PC and Xbox Series X|S, while People Can Fly continues to navigate organizational changes following layoffs.

People Can Fly announced it was working on Project Maverick, which was at the time an unannounced AAA game with Microsoft.
