The goal of the game is to collect treasure and defeat enemies as you attempt to acquire four souls. Do that, and you'll win. But with hundreds of cards in the deck, there are plenty of things that'll get between you and victory.
If you'd rather not pick up the ultimate edition, you'll find the standard Four Souls game on sale for $39 (down from $45) and the Requiem expansion for $35.
