Konami has unveiled a new installment in the Suikoden RPG series, named Suikoden Star Leap, developed for iOS and Android platforms. Set for free-to-play with microtransactions, it's the first new game since 2012. The story follows a silent protagonist, Hou, and his friends after their village is attacked. Star Leap includes 108 recruitable characters and will embrace the nostalgic pixel-art style reminiscent of earlier titles. Producer Shinya Fujimoto revealed that the narrative connects to key figures from the franchise, specifically placing it between the events of Suikoden V and Suikoden I.
