Subnautica studio co-founder says he's suing parent company Krafton
Briefly

Charlie Cleveland and other executives have filed a lawsuit against Krafton, alleging wrongful dismissal and refuting claims of abandoning their responsibilities. Krafton accused Cleveland and his team of causing significant delays in the release of Subnautica 2, now set for early access in 2026. Cleveland denied these allegations, stating that the game is ready for early access and asserting that their intention is not financial gain, but rather a passion for the industry. Krafton claimed to have paid out a large bonus to the former executives under disputed circumstances.
Cleveland strongly refuted Krafton's claims, asserting that Subnautica 2 is in fact 'ready for early access' and that any allegations regarding abdication of leadership and financial motivations are false.
I'm in this industry because I love it, not for riches. Historically we've always shared our profits with the team and did the same when we sold the studio.
