Subnautica 2 will feature new planets, biomes, and creatures, moving beyond the original's 4546B. The game will launch in early access in 2025, enabling player input before the final release, demonstrating the studio's responsiveness to its audience's desires.
For the first time, you'll have the chance to experience Subnautica 2 with your friends in co-op, showcasing a significant shift from the solo journey of the original.
We've taken everything that we've learned from our experience on [Subnautica and its prequel, Subnautica: Below Zero], and we've poured it into Subnautica 2.
Unlike the previous entries in the series, which took place on a planet simply known as 4546B, Subnautica 2 will take place on a different alien planet.
The early access version of the game is set to launch sometime in 2025, allowing players to voice their opinions on the game before its official release.
