Once photos of an alleged Stranger Things Season 5 wrap party made their way onto social media last Sunday, it was all but confirmed that the next and final chapter in what's arguably Netflix's most important series is almost ready for the world.
The teaser trailer's caption stated, 'In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins,' but Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade didn't come out until May 1989, complicating the timeline for the upcoming season.
Whenever the final season releases, Netflix will be saying goodbye to a ratings behemoth. The fourth season became only the second Netflix series to attract over one billion hours of viewership.
If the anticipation for the final season is any indication, all of those records will be smashed when we finally say goodbye to the kids of Hawkins High.
