Sniper Elite: Resistance revisits the successful gameplay formula of its predecessors, enhancing player choice in navigating missions set in WWII. The game continues to deliver its signature ballistic physics and grotesque X-ray killcam feature, although some players may find the latter repetitive. While the game is enjoyable with reliable sniping mechanics, its campaign in the French countryside brings a sense of deja vu, suggesting a need for innovation beyond the established aspects that have defined the series over the years.
Not every game needs to be more like IO Interactive's Hitman, but some games would benefit from adopting more of that incredible series' strong points.
Like its predecessors, the game is a fun and reliable shooter when it comes to sniping mechanics, though I've grown weary of the killcam.
